What We're Seeking

 

TKXS already has a North American presence, however, a key objective is to further expand its footprint in the U.S. Business development/sales serves as the forefront of the TKXS growth strategy and represents the face of TKXS in educating the market and prospective clients of its capabilities. The Vice President, Business Development (VPBD) is responsible for business development efforts for a specific vertical of Animal Health in the U.S.

About the Position

Responsibilities of the Vice President, Business Development include:

 

  • Assess market opportunities and build strategies to expand the TKXS footprint and achieve sales goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of TKXS' marketing technology products and services
  • Partner with the U.S. sales leader to establish a sales strategy to include key customer targets, capabilities portfolio and sales resources/aids
  • Identify and qualify a continual pipeline of opportunities to align to TKXS' core capabilities
  • Deliver capabilities presentations, prepare and propose pricing, and negotiate contracts
  • Lead complex sales negotiations
  • Directly manage high-profile customer relationships in the early-stages of business development until client engagement is assigned to support with ongoing, day-to-day relationship management
  • Collaborate with other business development leaders to leverage existing relationships/networks and established business with marquee customers in the U.S. to cross-sell into other divisions
  • Adhere to sales processes (such as deal tracking) that drive desired sales outcomes and report on ongoing progress, wins and losses
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key industry relationships
  • Participate in TKXS quarterly Sales Summits for training, knowledge-share and departmental collaboration
  • Work closely with the U.S. marketing function to establish successful support to drive sales efforts 

 

Credentials 

Qualifications Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, animal health or another relevant field
  • 15+ years business development/sales/sales leadership experience

 

Skills Desired:

  • Proficient with G-Suite (Google Drive, G-Mail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with both PC and Mac
  • Proficient with LinkedIn Navigator
  • Proficient with HubSpot Sales
