Compliance Coordinator

About the Position


Core responsibilities for this position include many facets of project management and compliance stewardship.

This position may be filled in the Raleigh or Charlotte office. 



  • Oversee all business operations relating to compliance
  • Creation of diagrams, presentations, flowcharts and other artifacts that define basic components of our technology platforms and the compliance related procedures that govern how systems and personnel interact with them
  • Perform needed Project management duties (status reports, meeting coordination, etc)
  • Coordinate all SOC related activity with our auditors and with the internal audit teams of our clients
  • Track progress and manage all TKXS quarterly access and activity reviews
  • Track and manage any client related monthly and quarterly reporting and evidence production requirements. 
  • Assist sales and other team members in timely responses to potential clients and RFPs where compliance matters are discussed
  • Maintain, update and obtain approval of the Information Security Policy as it is reviewed and updated
  • Presentation of compliance status report every other week for senior management
  • Collect and maintain the documentation of existing compliance processes and maintain in sharepoint a collection of all compliance related documents, policies and evidence.
  • Define new compliance processes to close any gaps in compliance and evaluate efficiency of existing controls and improve on them continuously
  • May require 20% travel (Between Raleigh and Charlotte)



  • Communication with a variety of stakeholders to determine level of compliance and articulate process to close gaps
  • Represent TKXS to clients in cases where our process compliance is discussed
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Is able to effectively communicate strategy and build consensus around that strategy
  • Comfortable intersecting with Sales, Finance and Technology teams to achieve objectives


Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze, solve, and document complex business processes
  • Ability to make timely, effective decisions
  • Self Directed - Able to drive goals and strategy independently - Can direct a program at all levels by setting clear priorities and objectives at various stages
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant information from both technical and non-technical SME's
  • Creative and pragmatic approach to getting the best solution for a compliance need
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft office suite of products


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.
  • At least five years of related experience in compliance management (SOC, SOX, SAS70, SSAE 16, etc)
    • Familiarity of technology attestations
    • Familiarity of financial attestations a big plus


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
