Capital Associated Industries (CAI) is a non-profit employers' association with offices in Raleigh and Greensboro, NC, that serves the greater Research Triangle, Piedmont Triad and 65 central and eastern counties of North Carolina. We help our 1300+ member organizations maximize employee engagement and minimize employer liability through human resources and management advice, training, news, survey data, public policy advocacy and consulting services.

Our CAI member experience is deeply impacted by how well we connect our members with a broader community of North Carolina HR professionals. It is those very connections that helps bring shared experiences to life. This unique role requires the successful candidate to be an EFFECTIVE PEOPLE CONNECTOR across three distinct mediums:

  1. Roundtables & Peer Learning Groups: We believe that our members benefit greatly by sharing their challenges and best practices with their HR peers. This role helps to coordinate ongoing monthly Peer Learning Group and quarterly Roundtable meetings. A key success factor for this role is the ability to effectively recruit and engage members to participate in these sessions.
  2. Conferences: CAI conducts several large-scale conferences throughout the year. We aim to transition attendee participation from a passive "sit and learn" approach to an active "engage and connect" approach. This role would help to facilitate networking opportunities and relationships that tie back into CAI's mission.
  3. Online Member Community: Our organization is passionate about building a smoother end-to-end website experience with our content, products and services. We need help shaping the CAI Member Community into an experience that connects with our members, gives them a voice, allows them to tap into meaningful peer relationships and ultimately deepens member loyalty.
