We are seeking a dynamic individuals with proven success in outside business development to join our CU@WORK Team and lead our efforts to develop and solidify partnerships within our communities building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth for the credit union. This individual must possess the qualities and attributes that reflect impressive sales ability and leadership skills as well as excellent communication and presentations skills, and dynamic relationship-building skills. The CU@WORK Executive will act as a dedicated member of the Piedmont Advantage Credit Union team by actively pursuing new and existing business development opportunities. The CU@WORK Executive will cultivate relationships with Select Employee Groups (SEGS) and community memberships with a focus on marketing and sales. In order to accomplish the goals for this position, the incumbent will attend marketing and sales functions on behalf of the credit union.

  • Cultivate relationships with existing members to maintain and expand banking relationships. Contact prospective members to develop new business. Identify cross-sell opportunities that will benefit members based on Piedmont Advantage Credit Union products. Develop cross-sell opportunities through in-person sales sessions as well as by telephone, written correspondence, and external sales calls. This can be achieved through developing innovative marketing ideas and promotional strategies to meet business development goals and representing the Credit Union at various functions to develop business relationships.
  • Analyze relevant statistics and campaign results for integration into the business development plan; make recommendations to management when required.
  • As a result of analysis of data from business development efforts, create monthly reporting to be communicated to the Marketing department summarizing the activities of our Business Development efforts in the Triad market. This reporting should include results and future changes based on those outcomes as well as incentive pay tracking.
  • Identify member needs, problems, or complaints, and arrange for meetings between members or prospective members and representatives of various credit union functional areas.
  • 2-5 years of similar or related experience preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Financial Experience is a Plus!
  • The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
  • Maintain a professional work environment and business like appearance.
  • Travel is required.
