Cato Research is a full-service contract research and development organization with international resources dedicated to helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies efficiently and expeditiously navigate the regulatory approval process in order to bring new drugs, biologics, and medical devices to the people who need them. Cato is a non-laboratory environment.


System administration and responsibilities:

  • Day-to-­day customer support;
  • Set-up and maintenance of Windows Servers (Windows 2012 & 2016); general troubleshooting of all networked devices;
  • Set-up and maintenance of the firewall;
  • Conducting firewall audits;
  • Investigating access methods to highly sensitive data and conducting audits of the same; support division security policy for all aspects of system access;
  • Develop and follow data back-up and recovery policies;
  • Provide accurate and updated information to documentation of supported products; and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing technology projects and their cost, time and scope. Responsibilities include project plan, communication plan, allocating tasks and setting milestone.

Required competencies:

  • Three or more years project management experience in I.T.
  • ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred. PMP certifications preferred
  • Detail-oriented

  • Good communications skills, with customers, team and stakeholders
  • IT strategy experience
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of related software tools Knowledge of data protocols and networking theory, two or more PC operating systems, and Active Directory concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills required.
  • Incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, administering, and maintaining on-premises and hybrid-cloud Active Directory environment, as well as managing remote support requests. Experience with IT compliance and management of IT projects is preferred.


Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience with a networked interactive environment in user support or customer support. Experience with IT compliance and management of IT projects is preferred. 


Requires a B.A./B.S. in a quantitative field, preferably in Management Information Systems or related field and/or appropriate combination of education and experience; Project Management accreditation, desirable
